Sovereign digital infrastructure · Africa

We build the systems a nation runs on.

Dzinza builds and operates sovereign digital public infrastructure for African governments and the industries they regulate — open standards owned by the State, integrated by industry, verifiable by anyone. A company of products, not a single app.

Our products

One company. A portfolio of sovereign infrastructure.

Dzinza builds the open platforms a government runs as its own — and the software the industry uses on top of them. Each product stands alone; together they form the traceability layer for African agriculture.

Platform · flagship

LITS

The open standard and platform for national livestock identification & traceability. Each nation runs its own sovereign registry — starting with ZLITS (Zimbabwe), the proposed first instance — owned by the State, integrated by industry, verifiable by anyone.

  • Open API standard (Apache-2.0) + conformance mark
  • Sovereign tenants on *.gov.<cc>; cross-border federation
  • Identity · movement permits · health · signed certificates

Software · for producers

FuroTrack

Farm & herd management for producers and agents — register animals, plan movements, manage records day to day. A LITS-conformant integrator: it submits to the national registry on the farmer's behalf, on equal terms with any vendor.

  • Herd, holdings & field capture (incl. EID)
  • Syncs to national registries via the open LITS API
  • The reference client for the standard — never the owner of it

Roadmap

More on the way

Dzinza is building further sovereign digital infrastructure for African agriculture and the public sector — on the same principles: open standards, State-owned data, verifiable by anyone.

  • Adjacent registries & traceability domains
  • Shared identity, verification & payments rails
  • Partner-operated national instances across SADC

How we build

The principles every Dzinza product shares.

The reason a government can adopt our infrastructure as a national utility rather than a vendor's lock-in.

Open standard

Published contracts (Apache-2.0) any vendor can build against — no private agreement, no lock-in.

Sovereign by design

The State owns the data and the mandate. Dzinza operates as a processor — escrow, export-on-exit, right-to-in-house.

Vendor-neutral

Competitors integrate on identical terms. Even our own FuroTrack is just a client, never privileged.

Publicly verifiable

Anyone can verify a certificate with no login — the trust anchor that makes the record impossible to fake.

Built in & for Africa

A SADC-based team building for African veterinary authorities, producers and export markets first.

Operated, not just sold

We run the platform under a concession — uptime, residency, in-region operations — and hand stewardship to the State.

How it works

Owned by the State. Integrated by industry. Verifiable by anyone.

One sovereign registry per nation, on its own government domain. Vendors, abattoirs and auctions connect as equal clients over a published API. Every certificate it issues can be checked by anyone, with no login.

  • The registry is the single source of truth — the State is the controller.
  • Any conformant vendor integrates; none is privileged.
  • A public verification endpoint is the trust anchor.
